Limestone Coast Rainwater Tanks and Water Storage

In these harsh environmental times with an ever expanding population and the added costs involved, it is more important now than ever that we use our natural resources wisely. There is no better way to do this than to harness our  rainwater. There are many options available to Limestone Coast consumers today but here at Aqua Steel Industries we believe that two of the best options available are manufactured right here.

Galvanised Rainwater Tanks

As a part of the Australian landscape for generations, galvanised tanks have more than stood the test of time. Lightweight and strong galvanised steel has enjoyed an excellent reputation in Australian conditions for corrosion resistant rainwater storage for as long as European settlement. It has been our experience that most of the galvanised tanks we replace are between 30 & 50 years old. Not a bad track record. We don’t believe that there is anything out on the current market to compare in both price and longevity.

Modular Tanks

For those with limited room we also make a range of space saving galvanised or coloured modular tanks.

Aquaplate ® Water Tanks

They may look like a traditional galvanised tank on the outside but that is where the similarities end. Designed for areas where the quality of water cannot be guaranteed or the environment is harsh Aquaplate® polymer coated steel has all the answers and comes with the strength of Bluescope® behind it. A specially formulated tough food grade polymer skin is bonded to a galvanized steel base at the time of manufacture

The zinc coating offers years of trouble free water storage in a variety of environments with no UV breakdown. Aquaplate® polymer coated steel also meets the stringent guidelines for the storage of water for human consumption. So now you will never need to worry about materials effects on the quality of the water you have stored regardless of whether it comes from rain, river, dam, spa or bore. Available in galvanised and colorbond finish in a variety of sizes up to 22,500 litres.
